A CAR caught fire on a main road in Alderley Edge.
Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire on Melrose Way shortly before 11am on Friday.
The fire was out on their arrival.

Crews were required to cool down the engine as a precaution and clear an oil spill with an environmental pack.
