CREWS have been working through the night to tackle a large fire in Over Peover.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 9.50pm on Monday, December 14, at an outbuilding in Chelford Lane.
Six fire engines were in attendance – one from Knutsford, two from Macclesfield, one from Wilmslow, one from Lymm and one from Middlewich.
Crews were called out following reports of a fire and on arrival they found that the fire involved two large outbuildings which contained around 80 vehicles.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to tackle the flames.
Once the fire was out crews continued to damp down the area while using a thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature.
A road closure was put in place along Chelford Lane between the junctions of Snelson Lane and Stocks Lane while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Firefighters remained at the scene until this afternoon, December 15.
