PART of a busy Holmes Chapel road was forced to close this morning, November 17, following a vehicle fire.
Three fire engines were sent out to Manor Lane at 11.38am to tackle the fire, which is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a telehandler truck on fire in the direction of Jodrell Bank.
Two crews from Middlewich and one from Sandbach attended the scene.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the flames.
The telehandler has been moved to a safe location.

Crews monitored the vehicle using the thermal imaging camera.
The road has since reopened this afternoon.
