Combine harvester fire at farm in Wilmslow
FIREFIGHTERS put out a blaze involving a combine harvester at a farm in Wilmslow.
Two fire crews, one from Wilmslow and one from Manchester, attended the incident at the farm in Burleyhurst Lane around 8.10pm on Saturday.
On arrival the crews discovered that the fire involved its engine compartment.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
