HORSE riders from across the north west will endure 10 and 15 mile routes around a Cheshire forest in aid of Cancer Research on Saturday, March 8.
As part of a series of National Rides organised by Endurance GB, riders are being encouraged to enter this event at Delamere Forest whether or not they have done endurance riding before.
Liz Finney, chair of the Cheshire Group of EGB said: “This is a family sport, open to anyone with a horse fit enough to complete the distance at a steady pace within 3 hours.
"It will be a fun day and we hope people will enjoy meeting people, riding through the countryside, and most importantly raise money for this special cause.
"We are organising this event at Delamere Forest for members and non-members and we will donate the proceeds to Cancer Research. Riders and/or horses may wear pink if they wish and everyone who complete the ride will be awarded with a special pink rosette.”
Riders don’t need to compete to enjoy the benefits of endurance riding.
Associate members can enter more than 100 pleasure rides all around the country at discounted rates.
Associate members get insurance, membership of a local group and the national magazine. Closing dates for entries is March 2.
Entry and sponsorship forms can be found at endurancegbcheshire.co.uk
