A GRADE II listed moated farmhouse in Allostock is back on the market after undergoing a £1million overhaul.
Hulme Hall, which dates back to the 15th century and was the historic country seat of the prominent Cheshire Grosvenor and Shakerley families, has been restored to its former glory by Harewood Associates.
The property, on Hulme Hall Lane, had been on the market for £265,000 before it was sold and had been in disrepair for over a decade.
The refurbishment project took 15 months to complete and the newly-restored home is back on the market with a price-tag of £2.5million.

Set in three acres of land, the seven bedroom house now features a five-car garage and separate annexe, a grand hall furnished with original timbers and four reception rooms.
The house is also situated on a small island, complete with a historic moat and the original Grade II listed bridge – now a scheduled ancient monument serving as a garden feature.
