Knutsford Rangers is a Girlguiding organisation, who meet once a month and take part in a variety of fun activities and experiences.

Rangers is formed of girls aged 14-18 from around the local area and is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends and try new experiences.

The organisation presents a wonderful range of activities, which varies from crafting to tree-top adventure trips.

Due to the large array of opportunities Rangers presents, there will always be something that interests everyone!

A Ranger said about this topic, ‘there is an interesting variation of activities, lots of different things to do.’

The leader of Knutsford Rangers, Rachel Reyer, commented on her enjoyment of running the group saying, ‘I love to see the Ranger’s develop as they go through Rangers.’

Being in Rangers allows girls to take on new challenges and become experienced for later in life.

A Ranger commented, ‘it encourages me to do things I would not usually do,’ and the organisation is ‘great for CV’s.’

Girls can also earn badges for accomplishments in the unit or can work on projects at home to earn them too.

This presents a fabulous opportunity, giving the girls who attend, the freedom to learn things from these badges to develop important life skills.

The rangers say this gives them ‘independence.’

Rangers also presents a wonderful opportunity to socialise with girls from other schools or areas.

The girls attending the unit say, ‘making new friends,’ is a highlight of the experience and an amazing reason to go.

Knutsford Rangers is a fabulous place for girls to find friendship, fun and freedom to do activities in a caring, welcoming environment.
