Shaw Heath still lead by 11 points with seven games left to play.
Reigning champions Tatton A moved into third after a 5-2 defeat of Wilmslow Cons B.
Mere A won against Heald Green in a match where father and son Richard and Matthew Owen both scored more than 100 in their frames.
Mobberley A beat Mere B 5-2, with Bruce Tulley scoring 125 points to continue his fine form, while Ned Flinders also scored 106 points.
Mobberley's B team also won 5-2, their victory over Tatton C was helped by ton-plus scores from Hank Pasquill and Jeff Gorton.

Wilmslow Cons beat Mere B 4-3, despite the best efforts of Allen Jackson who scored 100+ points.
Mere A were victorious over Wilmslow Cons, for whom Jason Robinson became the third player of the week to score over 100 points but ended up on the losing team.
