THE Knutsford and District Snooker League week began with a tight match at The Tatton Club.
Wilmslow Cons A edged out Tatton C 4-3 to get their campaign off to a winning start.
Shaw Heath hosted Tatton A in a match which saw the 2021/22 winners face off against last year's champions.
Shaw Heath ended up victorious, with their 4-3 victory aided by a 113-point frame from Dave Mullins.
Week one leaders Heald Green continued their fine start with a 5-2 victory over Mobberley B, a result which keeps them at the top of the table by a single point.
John Dale scored 100 points for Mobberley B but that wasn't enough to prevent a second straight defeat for his team.
Mobberley C lie in second after successive 5-2 victories, the latest coming against Tatton B.
Morley Green kick started their campaign with a 5-2 win against Wilmslow Cons B, Keith Aldred starring with a 42 break in his 100+ frame score.
The final match was a Mere ‘derby’ in which the A team made it two wins out of two by defeating their B team 5-2.
Paul Sanderson made a 100+ frame score for the B team in a losing cause.
