ADAM Griffiths is the new cream of the crop.
He has won Knutsford Snooker League’s Parkers Knutsford Removals Champions Trophy for the first time, and the £75 prize that comes with it.
The final one-day competition of the season, held at Wilmslow Conservative Club, featured 16 of the league’s current trophy holders and lowest handicappers and a fantastic day of high quality snooker ensued.
The competition contained group stages that were won by Paul Hart, Matt Dale, Mike Roylance and Griffiths.
Dale and Griffiths came through their semi finals to meet in the final, Dale requiring a respotted black to seal his passage to the decider.
But Griffiths deservedly secured the win in the final showdown.
