Leaders Mobberley A defeated their Mobberley B clubmates, an outcome that allowed Wilmslow Cons A to climb back to second spot after they beat Morley.
Tatton and Wilmslow Cons B were the week’s other victors, against Shaw Heath A and Mere A.
Mobberley C edged closer to the Division Two title after a comfortable victory against Mobberley D, their lead worth 13 points with seven rounds left.
Rock-bottom Mere C ended the wait for their first league win of the campaign in a slender success against Knutsford Cons B, while Knutsford Cons A succumbed to Mere B.
On Thursday night, Wilmslow RBL eased past Royal London, Shaw Heath B’s victory against Wilmslow Cons C leaving them five points adrift of second place.
