FAMILIES are being invited to a church service on the story of Christmas.
Knutsford's annual Community Crib Service takes place on Saturday, December 7, from 4pm.
Town mayor Cllr Colin Banks is inviting families to join him outside The Lost & Found in Princess Street for the proceedings.
The service will be led by mayor's chaplain Reverend Paul Deakin and will include a Christmas message from the mayor.
Cllr Banks said: "I am looking forward to the town's annual Community Crib Service.
"This is event is for all: young and old, and I hope you can join me as we get into the festive spirit."
The event will also feature some of the mayor's favourite carols, which will be led by children from the Manor Park Primary School choir and the City of Chester Brass Band.
Complimentary mulled wine, mince pies and soft drinks will be served by the Knutsford Catenians.
