STAFF at Knutsford Academy have packed away their razors to help raise funds and awareness of men's health.
A group of colleagues at the school has been growing moustaches this month as part of the Movember campaign.
Since 2003, the Movember Foundation has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world on issues such as mental health and suicide prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancer.
And after setting an initial target of £250, the Knutsford Academy team have smashed past that to raise more than £800 so far
Head teacher Karen Key said: "We’re doing everything we can to help our Mo-team this Movember.
"Staff have donated an incredible £831 so far but we’d love to grow this fund further and make their facial hair-growing endeavors really count!"
A school spokesperson added: "The amazing Mo-team are growing moustaches to raise money for Movember to raise awareness of men's health in areas which are often overlooked.
"Issues like mental health, suicide prevention and cancers that impact so many men are being highlighted.
"Movember is a global awareness month to change that, raising awareness and funding to support programmes focusing on these crucial areas.
"Every conversation we start, every pound we raise and every moustache grown can make an impact."
