A MUSEUM exhibition has gone viral on social media after a Knutsford radio DJ shared his love for the ‘unmissable’ and worst pieces.
Mark Radcliffe, who is perhaps best known as the host of BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show, visited Warrington Museum and Art Gallery on Friday.
The 66-year-old, of Knutsford, explored the Worst Record Covers in the World exhibit, which has been curated by Steve Goldman.
The exhibit highlights hilariously bad record covers that Steve has been collecting and has been a huge success since it opened in October.
Mark shared five posts on X, formerly Twitter, about the exhibition after his visit which have since gone viral.
“Warrington Art Gallery has an unmissable exhibition of the world’s worst album covers,” he said.
“There are no (printable) words.”

His original tweet has since been viewed more than 268,000 times and received a flood of replies from people sharing their favourite, bad covers.
“Just when I think our town can’t get any better, the art gallery go and pull this masterstroke,” one reply read.
The exhibition will be on display until January 19, and visitors can even listen to some of the songs and vote for their favourite ‘worst record’.
“Thanks to Mark Radcliffe for spreading the word about the exhibition,” said Roger Jeffery, producer for Warrington Museum and Art Gallery.
“It’s proving to be a really popular show and one that lives up to the hype.
“There are definitely some record covers on show that I won’t be forgetting for a long time, and it’ll be interesting to see which sleeve win the visitors’ vote for the worst of all.”
