AIR cadets stepped out with pride to lead the town’s annual act of Remembrance.
Members of 2056 Knutsford squadron band took centre stage marching through the streets on Sunday.
Cadets joined forces with civic leaders, veterans, various organisations and the local community to pay tribute to fallen heroes.
A short Remembrance service was held at St John’s Church before everyone gathered at King Street car park for the procession.
Hundreds lined the streets as the parade meandered through the town past shops and businesses.
Civic dignitaries and various organisations laid wreaths.
A service was held at Crosstown War Memorial and Tatton Park Parachute Memorial.
After the main services of remembrance, mayor Colin Banks laid a wreath in the Centennial Place memorial garden.
Cllr Banks said: “Knutsford has a strong commitment to remembering the fallen and we are proud to host well attended services every Remembrance Sunday.
Knutsford Squadron commanding officer, flying officer Victoria Sherwin, said: "It was an honour and privilege for 2056 Squadron to support the act of Remembrance at this year's procession.
"It was fantastic to see so many veterans in attendance and for representatives from all over the community come together in remembrance.
"The squadron wishes to thank all the cadets for their hard work and focus in preparing for this over the past few weeks.
“You’ve done yourselves and the town proud.”
