FOOTBALL legend, David Beckham, posed for a picture in a chip shop in Alderley Edge.
Coby Hanson is an 18-year-old who works as a plasterer for Urban Building Projects, which is based on Hatton Lane in Warrington.
While working on a job in Alderley Edge, Coby decided to go to Foster’s Fish and Chip shop, on Chorley Hall Lane.
But he wasn’t the only person that decided they wanted chips for lunch that day, as former footballer David Beckham was waiting in line too.
"I walked into the chippy on my lunch break, and as I was waiting for my chips I turn around and Beckham was standing next to me,” he said.
The only two people in the chip shop, the pair began chatting about football while they waited for their food.
To Coby’s surprise, the A-lister even asked for Urban Building Projects number before he left.
"We were the only two people in there, we had a chat about football, and he asked me for Urban Building Projects office number as he's looking for a large extension on his home,” he said
