HUNDREDS of families filled the streets for a night of tricks, treats and spooky fun.

Knutsford Pumpkin Path was hailed a huge success as more people than ever before joined in all the activities.

Children hunted for 11 pumpkins hidden around the town centre.

Traders dressed up in fancy dress and handed out sweets.

Frankenstein and a Minion posed with children for pictures.

The Sanderson Sisters, the fictional trio of witches from the movie Hocus Pocus, serenaded visitors in Wallwood, thanks to Bunny Business events.

Fuchsia Dance School and Knutsford Beats entertained the crowds. Knutsford Hosts ensured all visitors were kept informed about what was going on at information desks.

The town was bursting with good spirits and hijinks.

One young visitor told his family: “This is the best night of my life!”

Alex Molloy, events manager at Knutsford Town Council said: “This is an event for all and the joy on people’s faces is fantastic.

“Our event goes a long way to reduce trick or treating at people’s homes and creates a fun environment for locals and visitors to enjoy the spirit of Knutsford.

“The commitment to this event from the local businesses is a true testament to what is great about Knutsford.”

Prizes were given to winners of the trail draw.

Knutsford Olde Sweet Shoppe won the best dressed window competition.
