A MAN from Alderley Edge is to face trial next year for allegedly drink-driving in London.
Jack Watkin, of Arderne Place, has pleaded not guilty to driving whilst above the legal alcohol limit.
The 25-year-old was stopped by police whilst driving a black Range Rover on Lowndes Square in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London on Saturday, August 24, this year.

A breath test recorded a reading of 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, Westminster Magistrates’ Court was told on October 30.
The legal alcohol limit for driving is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Watkin had denied the offence at an earlier hearing on August 26.
The case was adjourned for a trial to be heard on January 20, next year.
The hearing is expected to last for three hours.
Watkin has also pleaded not guilty to using a motor vehicle without third party insurance on the same day as the drink-driving offence.
The defendant was remanded on unconditional bail.
