A MAN accused of breaking into an award-winning fish and chip shop will be sentenced later this month.
Benjamin Gibney, of Dock Road, Northwich, has pleaded guilty to burglary and theft at Hooked on the Heath on Northwich Road on September 13, this year.
The 37-year-old admitted breaking into the shop and stealing cash to the value of £300 when he appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on October 3.

The break-in through a window happened in the early hours of the morning.
The case had been listed for sentence at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, October 31.
However, the case has now been adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Gibney was remanded on conditional bail until November 27, when he will be sentenced at Crewe Magistrates’ Court.
