Why you should attend the Makers Market in Knutsford
As we draw ever closer to the first Sunday of a month (this now being the 3rd of November.) The residents of Knutsford, Cheshire and other neighbouring communities will be excited for Knutsford famous “makers market.” The market fills the beautiful princess street with over one-hundred-and-fifty stalls of unique products from all independent businesses.
What to expext
So, what can you expect from the market? Well, if you enjoy the culinary arts then this may be the place to be next Sunday. Amazing food and enjoyable street food with exquisite drinks to offer as well. If going in the morning, and not wanting to go to one of Knutsford’s many coffee shops, then you can grab yourself some excellent coffee from some of the stalls, from hard-working, stand-alone businesses. If that is not your thing then why don’t you have a look at the sensational musical talent that will be on display. Performances from start to finish to adore, with performances including traditional, folk, pop rock and even DJ type music there is something musical for everyone. If you are not already compelled to go or gravitating towards the idea, then the rare arts and eye-catching crafts may just be the pull factor you need. These stalls mix the old and the new plus the additional unusualness.
Why you should go
However, most importantly: why should you go? Well as the makers market is not exclusive to Knutsford it is a special day out for you, the family and even the dog. Nestled within the compact streets of our lovely town. The breathtaking look of the market is also one not to miss. The setting of the victorian backdrop adds to the makers market as it emphasises the roots of the trading industry. It is an experience like no other that I and others highly recommend.
Although with every rose there is a thorn, for the market this comes in the form of congestion. At events as big as this one there are always masses of people but look at the traffic as a complement not a problem. All these people from our town or (even broader) our county (Cheshire) they do not come here for an awful, dull, and lifeless market. They come for a lively, colourful, and fantastic experience. Make it a sign to come.
A Market Made For All
This month the market takes place on Sunday the third of November, between the hours of eleven in the morning to four in the afternoon. So, enter the historical landscape that is our town centre and enjoy the market that is made for all.
