Wilmslow Town Council has allocated up to £35,000 for the redevelopment, which includes a small contingency.

A variety of new play equipment is being installed, including swings, a spinner, rocker and a two-tower play structure for younger children.

A triple tower will be available for older children with a slide, climbing sections and bridges, all enclosed by new steel fencing.

Benches and a picnic table will also be installed along with a Wilmslow Town Council noticeboard.

Ansa Environmental Services, a Cheshire East Council company, is organising and overseeing the work.
