KNUTSFORD is preparing to pay tribute to the town’s fallen heroes.

A slight change is being introduced to the programme this year.

A rolling road closure will be in place as the parade passes through.

This lasts no more than 15 minutes.

Armistice Day will be observed with a two-minute silence at 11am.

A service will be held at the Crosstown War Memorial at the junction of Mobberley Road and Thornleyholme Drive at 11.45am.

This will be followed by a similar service and wreath laying at Tatton Park Parachute Memorial at 12.30pm.

Town mayor Cllr Colin Banks will lay a wreath at Centennial Place memorial garden at 1.15pm.

Refreshments will be served afterwards at the council offices on Toft Road.
