A team from Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow and their families completed the 5km walk along with many other families and groups of friends.

The event took a scenic route through the parkland, starting and finishing at the showground site.

Hayley Gill, registered branch manager at Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow, said: “We know the challenges that some of our clients and their families face because of dementia.

“Being able to come together for events like this and raising vital finds to help fight dementia is important to us all.

“It was great to be a part of the Cheshire Memory Walk.

“With the weather on our side, we thoroughly enjoyed walking through Tatton Park with over 850 other supporters.

“We are really pleased with the amount of money we raised for Alzheimer’s Society and look forward to walking again in the future.”
