A LANE has been closed along the M6 near Knutsford.
This is due to a broken down vehicle along the northbound carriageway this morning, Tuesday.
The vehicle broke down between junction 18 A54 Middlewich Road to junction 19 A556 (Knutsford).
Traffic is reportedly 'coping well'.
National Highways predict the scene to be clear by 8am.
