A BUILDING was evacuated after a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to commercial premises on Wilmslow Road in Handforth at seven minutes past midnight.
Two fire engines from Wilmslow and Cheadle dealt with the incident.

The building was evacuated and a thorough check was made of all floors.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire investigation took place and it is believed the fire started accidentally due to electrical cabling."
