A DRIVER clocked speeding has been hit with a fine of almost £300.
Nick Templeton, of Hollies Lane, Wilmslow, pleaded guilty to exceeding the 30mph speed limit at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on September 25.
The 41-year-old was caught speeding at 38mph on an automatic camera whilst driving a Volvo on Edge Lane in Manchester on March 23, this year.
Templeton was fined £146 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £58 victim surcharge.
His driving licence was endorsed with three points.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
The defendant was given until November 6 to pay the £294 court penalty.
