A LEAK has left many homes without water.
Unites Utilities has reported that residents in Wilmslow are without water today (September 23).
It comes following a leak on Curzon Mews.
Repairs are said to be underway however it is not clear when water will be restored.
“We’re sorry if you’re experiencing no water or low water pressure right now,” said a United Utilities spokesperson.
“A leak has been reported to us on Curzon Mews and we can confirm this is the cause of the problem.
“Repairs to the leak are underway, our team still have some work to do to get things back to normal, and are working as quickly as possible to restore supplies.”
Providing a further update at 3.25pm, the spokesperson added: “Our team are making progress and our top priority is getting things back to normal.
“Repairs to our network can be harder to fix than we first thought and take longer than we hoped to complete.
“We’re working as quickly as we can to get your taps flowing again.
“Thanks for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience.
We’ll provide you with an update once we have one from the team onsite.”
