A SCOUT leader has fitted three kitchens in Knutsford scout buildings.

Rob Lyons, who has run 1st Knutsford Scouts for a decade, used his skills as a joiner and plumber to install a new kitchen in the group’s newly erected HQ at Charlton Lodge on the Moor.

The gifted trader behind Lyons Property Maintenance has also completely renovated kitchens at 1st Mobberley Scout and Guide HQ and 2nd Knutsford Crosstown Scout HQ.

Viv Pike, of 1st Mobberley Scouts, said: “Rob was very efficient in that he was aware that he had to complete the kitchen in a matter of only four weeks during the summer term.

“He liaised with his plumber, electrician and Walker Flooring who were supplying the floor and the window fitters too.

“The kitchen looks absolutely fabulous. Thank you Rob.”

The 1st Mobberley Scout HQ is available to hire for private parties and family celebrations.
