TRAFFIC is heavy along the M6 in Knutsford due to a broken down vehicle.
One lane has been closed along Southbound side of the carriageway this morning, Friday.
This is due to a broken down vehicle which is effecting junction 19, Knutsford and junction 18, Middlewich Road.
Queues are forming along the motorway as road traffic officers attend the scene of the incident.
National Highways predict the scene is expected to clear by 9am.
