A CURRY night with a difference promises plenty of fun and laughter.
The mayor of Knutsford is hosting a Curry-oke at Shaw Heath Social Club at 7pm on Friday, October 18.
All proceeds will go to his two local charities.
Cllr Colin Banks said: “I’m excited to be hosting this Curry-oke evening.

“It’s going to be a fantastic night full of fun, laughter, and, of course, a bit of friendly competition on the mic.
“Most importantly, it’s all about raising money for Just Drop in and The Welcome, who do invaluable work within the Knutsford community.”
On the night visitors can expect to belt out their favourite tunes with friends, indulge in a curry, and maybe catch a performance from the mayor and mayoress.
Whether you’re a shower singer, a pop diva, or just fancy a good laugh, Curry-oke is a chance to let loose, have fun, and support incredible causes.
A raffle will offer a selection of prizes generously donated by local businesses.
Tickets priced £10 each, including a curry, are available at buytickets.at/mayorofknutsford/1382646 or email civic events officer Gemma Jackson gemma.jackson@knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk
