A social evening was held to launch the exhibition last month at Knutsford Heritage Centre on King Street.
John Cridland, from the society, said: “About 40 people enjoyed the evening admiring the work and chatting to the photographers about their images.
“Visitors are asked to vote for their favourite image and one lucky person will win a copy of that image as a memento of their visit.”
On a visit to the display, town mayor Cllr Colin Banks said: “This is a fabulous exhibition showcasing the creative work of Knutsford people.”
A short biography accompanies a picture of each photographer exhibiting their work to convey their personality.
The display includes 56 mounted prints and more than 50 digital images from prizewinning portfolios.
Knutsford Photographic Society is a friendly, enthusiastic group of photographers who aim to have fun while not always taking themselves too seriously.
The club resumes their weekly meetings on September 17 at The Old School Rooms, Brook Street Chapel, Brook Street.
New members are most welcome. For further information visit knutsfordps.org.uk
