A WOMAN has been banned from the road for being over the legal alcohol limit.
Amelia Frazer, of Park Road, Wilmslow, was caught over the limit while behind the wheel of a Jaguar on Water Lane in Wilmslow on August 3, this year.
Appearing at Crewe Magistrates Court on August 29, the 37-year-old admitted having 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when she was caught.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Frazer was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Drink-driving is a criminal offence that carries an obligatory driving disqualification of a minimum period of 12 months.
Frazer was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £48 victim surcharge.
Magistrates took her guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
