A POLICE road safety check has clocked 73 reckless drivers speeding.
Officers have been monitoring the speed of vehicles in 30mph zones around Knutsford and Chelford.
Police are urging drivers to slow down and take heed of road signs.

Speeding could have ‘catastrophic consequences’, warn officers.
A spokesman for Knutsford Police said: “Over the past few days, 73 vehicles have been caught speeding in the Knutsford and Chelfor45d areas.
“Watch your speed when driving as you put other road users at risk.
“Do not drive over the speed limit as the consequences can be catastrophic.”
Police have been carrying out a series of speed enforcement operations across East Cheshire.
Armed with a radar gun, officers have clocked many drivers breaking the law.
