A FLOWER club has reached an historic milestone.
Knutsford Floral Design Club has celebrated their emerald anniversary.
The club was founded 55 years ago by Jean Taylor and had more than 100 members.

People were put on a waiting list, it proved so popular.
In those days, ladies wore hats.
The club currently has 63 members and hosts monthly meetings with demonstrations, competitions and workshops.
A special anniversary celebration was held at Abbeywood Gardens, near Delamere in Northwich.
Members had a tour of the gardens and a floral demonstration by Mark Entwistle.
Knutsford mayor Cllr Colin Banks and his wife, Christine were among the special guests.
In glorious sunshine, afternoon tea was served in a glasshouse amid 27 acres of flowers and woodland.
It has been a year of celebration as many members swept the board winning countless medals at floral competitions including the Cheshire Show.
The club meets at Plumley Village Hall at 2pm on the third Wednesday of the month.
National demonstrator Vanessa Wellock presents ‘It’s Time To Celebrate’ at their next meeting on Wednesday, September 18.
