A NEW home manager has been appointed at Wilmslow Manor.

Darren Molyneux will oversee the day-to-day running of the 63-bed care home on Handforth Road.

After joining New Care in 2018 as team leader, he had developed his career, taking on the roles of head of care and deputy home manager.

Darren has achieved a diploma in Level 5 Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care with distinction.

Keen to use his knowledge and skills within a managers’ role, he jumped at the chance to lead the team at Wilmslow Manor.

Darren said: “I am really proud of all that I have learnt and achieved at New Care.

“I am even more passionate about my new role than ever before.

“Wilmslow Manor is a stunning care facility with an amazing team located in a beautiful setting.

“I am looking forward to building strong relationships with the residents, their relatives and the staff.

“My ultimate aim is to work towards an outstanding rating with the CQC for our first inspection, that would be an incredible achievement.

“I’d like all residents to continue enjoying the warmth, comfort and vibrant community that we offer.”
