ALDERLEY Edge School for Girls is celebrating the ‘remarkable' success of students in their GCSE examinations.
A third of all grades achieved were 9-8, while 50 per cent of all grades were 9-7.
Acting headmistress Caroline Wood, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our pupils.

“The girls’ outstanding results reflect their hard work, dedication and perseverance in all of their subjects.
“As well as the unwavering support of our talented staff and the school community, these accomplishments not only highlight the academic excellence within our school but also underscore our commitment to fostering a nurturing environment where every girl can thrive and reach her full potential.
“We are incredibly proud of all of our pupils and look forward to seeing their continued success.”
Many students achieved grade 9 in various subjects, a among a clutch of other excellent results.
Laura Wolstencroft gained 11 grade 9s, Hannah Graham, Katie Hiscocks and Lucy Flanagan achieved seven, Alanda Goodwin got five and Sarah Aldarabsah received three.
In further maths,100 per cent of grades were 9-7.
In the sciences, 93 per cent of grades in physics were 9-7, 90 per cent in chemistry were 9-7 and 87 per cent in biology were 9-7.
In computing, 88 per cent of grades were 9-7.
In business, 82 per cent of grades in business were 9-7 and 83 per cent in religion and philosophy were 9-7.
Head of Year 11 Sarah Waite added: “I am incredibly proud of our Year 11s.
“These achievements are a testament to all their hard work and determination.
“As our students move on to the next stages of their lives, I am confident that they will continue to celebrate many more successes, equipped with the many #BeMore skills they have developed during their time at AESG including becoming more resilient, responsible and curious.”
