A third consultation room has been added upstairs and new technology installed.
The refurbishment has also expanded the dispensing area downstairs, creating more space to display frames, including stocking the Anne et Valentin range for the first time.
New owners Ashley Burrows, Alexandra Fox, Victoria Schofield have taken over the practice.
Retired optometrist and founder Wendy Diddams said: “Over the years, we constantly aimed to provide the best service possible to our patients.
“For new owners, Ashley, Alex and Vicky, this has been the perfect opportunity to give the space a little bit of love, allowing them to build on the high standard of eyecare that our patients recognise while also expanding services to ensure that the community is cared for in every corner of both eyecare and hearing care.”

Patients can come and have a first peek at the practice’s new look.
As an extra gift, a prize draw will be held for customers who purchase on the day.
A pair of Rayban sunglasses will be the first prize and goody bags will be available for those who come early.
Town mayor Cllr Colin Banks will be a special guest.
Speaking on behalf of the new owners, Alex said: “The whole team work really hard to ensure that our patient’s needs are met.
“We’re all incredibly excited to be able to elevate that service even further following the refurbishment.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing our patients benefit from these improvements and expect this new technology to have a lasting impact on the standards of eyecare within the community.”
The team is keen to build on the rich heritage the practice has established over the past two decades.
