A MOTORCYCLIST sustained serious life-changing injuries following a crash in Holmes Chapel.
The rider of a black Yamaha YZF 600 motorcycle was involved in a collision with a black Audi A1 on Twemlow Lane in Holmes Chapel at around 10.04pm on Sunday, August 11.
The 33-year-old motorcyclist from Warrington was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening but potentially life changing.”
The driver of the Audi, a 19-year-old man from Wilmslow, was taken to Macclesfield Hospital as a precaution and has since been discharged.
He has since been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident and reopened at around 4.45am on Monday, August 12.
