A ROLLS Royce driver has been clocked speeding in a residential area.
Mohammed Sarwar, of Eccups Lane, Wilmslow, was charged with exceeding the 30mph speed limit on January 6, this year.
The 33-year-old was caught on camera driving a Rolls Royce Phantom V12 on Princess Road near Mauldeth Road in Manchester at a speeding exceeding 30mph.
The case was heard at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on August 7 and found proven after evidence from Greater Manchester Police was presented to the court.
Sarwar was fined £220 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £88 victim surcharge.
His driving licence was endorsed with three points.
The defendant was given until September 18 to pay the £398 court penalty.
