Saks Knutsford named finalists for five prestigious hair salon awards

Saks Salon Knutsford has been named a finalist in the Northern Hair and Beauty Awards for Hair Salon of the Year.

This is a new award and the winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Manchester in November.

The Minshull Street team are also finalists in four categories of the Salon Awards 2024.

Staff are up for Salon Team of the Year, an award they won last year.

They are finalists for Hair Extension Salon of the Year.

Stylist Emma Smith is a finalist for Colourist of the Year.

And three stylists Emma Smith, Estelle Smith and Roula Besiri have each been nominated for the Creative Image Award.

Salon manager Paula Wood said: “We’re over the moon. I am very proud.

“The Northern Hair and Beauty Awards are new so it came as a shock to us to be finalists as we have not asked for clients to vote for us but they did.

“I am really lucky to have such great team.

“We are close-knit, like a family. Everyone gels together and complements each other.

“Personality wise, it just works.

“We are all getting excited about these awards and getting our clients excited.

“Both these awards are in November so it’s going to be a crazy month for us.”

The salon has won a galaxy of awards since it opened in May, 2017.
