LAUGHTER filled the air as Cheshire care home residents explored Dunham Massey.
Kingsley Healthcare homes in the North West teamed up to organise a charity event to support Prevent Breast Cancer.
Family members and staff supported 16 residents as they completed a five kilometre sponsored walk and wheelchair push.

Residents enjoyed the scenery and flowers and were fascinated to see deer roaming round the park.
A picnic prepared by chefs in the homes was shared at lunchtime.
A spokesman for Kingsley Healthcare said: “This not only provided a great opportunity for residents to have a well-deserved rest, but also to chat and socialise with each other, striking up new friendships, before continuing their walk.”
The homes including Sharston House in Knutsford, raised £372 which was topped up to £1,000 by Kingsley Healthcare.
The donation was presented to Prevent Breast Cancer, at the North West Regional Kingsley Healthcare Awards event at Dunham Forest Golf Club, as part of their 25th anniversary.
At the presentation, Daya Thayan, chief executive officer at Kingsley Healthcare, personally donated £1,500 to bring the total to £2,500.
Lesley Saxon, events and marketing manager at Dunham Forest Golf Club said: “Thank you so much for this kind donation to Prevent Breast Cancer which is a charity very close to my heart.
“I am sure that the donation will be put to good use by the charity locally to promote early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes helping to stop this disease before it starts.”
Pauline Parker-Moore, director of operations at Kingsley Healthcare, said: “It is always wonderful to see residents enjoying trips out into the local area.
“The sponsored walk at Dunham Massey was a great success with everyone enjoying a wonderful day out.
“We were delighted to raise money for the Prevent Breast Cancer charity.”
