SCHOOLKIDS have been clowning around as they broke up for the summer holidays.
Pupils at Lower Peover School got to enjoy all the fun of the fair as an end-of-year treat.
Money raised throughout the year by the Friends of Lower Peover School helped fund a visit from Circus Sensible on July 23.
The children enjoyed watching a traditional show in the big top followed by a whole day of circus skills workshops, trying their hand at the hula hoop, diablo, devil sticks and stilts.
“This day helped children to build their confidence, supported social and personal development and increased self-esteem and awareness,” said head teacher, Sharon Dean.
“Circus skills are great fun for children and adults. We would have Circus Sensible back tomorrow!”
