On May 1, 2024, we published an article which incorrectly referred to Michael Harrison, of Longridge, as a 'drink-driver'.
Mr Harrison had in fact pleaded guilty to the offence of 'being in charge of a motor vehicle while alcohol level above limit' when appearing at Crewe Magistrates Court on April 22.
He was not charged with the offence of 'driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit'.
We apologise to Mr Harrison for the error and any further upset this has caused.
