SPEEDING could lead to ‘catastrophic’ consequences, warn police.
This stern message follows a road safety check which clocked 44 vehicles speeding.
Officers have been monitoring the speed of vehicles on 30mph zones around Knutsford and Chelford.

A spokesman for Knutsford Police said: “44 vehicles were caught speeding over the limit.
“The fastest vehicle caught speeding was travelling at 44mph.
“Do not drive over the speed limit as the consequences can be catastrophic.”
Police have been carrying out a series of speed enforcement operations across East Cheshire.
Armed with a radar gun, officers have clocked many drivers breaking the law.
