AN open air show of Space Chickens is coming to Knutsford.
The Puppet Van, featuring an adventurous chicken who is blasted into space to solve our planet’s problems, will be at Picnic in the Park.
This new free family event will be held on Sunday, September 22, from 12 noon to 4pm, on St Helena’s Field, beside Adeleide Heath Academy in Longridge.

The science fiction comedy animated TV show promises intergalactic adventure from the hen house to the milky way.
Puppetry and banjo synth music follow this rocket-fuelled tale all on top of a van.
Picnic in the Park is a day of theatre, music and community organised by Knutsford Town Council.
The Steel Drum Band and a Literary Tent, hosted by local author Kirsty Duncan are among the many other attractions.
A community picnic area will be set up in front of the stage.
Residents are encouraged to gather their friends, family, a blanket and chairs and enjoy a free fun day out for all the family.
The mayor of Knutsford, Cllr Colin Banks will judge the best birthday cake creation in a Bake Off tent.
The baking competition celebrates the council’s 50th anniversary.
Children will be able to help create a bug hotel, a five-star luxury experience for visiting insects.
