SURPRISINGLY, amid the summer sunshine, the search is already on for traders for this year’s Knutsford Christmas Market.
Anyone wishing to join the popular two-day street market is urged to apply now.
This year’s festive event takes place on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1.

The market features around 140 traders each day, selling an array of artisan handmade food and drink products, art, crafts, Christmas decorations and lots of gift ideas.
Alex Molloy, events manager at Knutsford Town Council, said: “Every year the market gets better and better.
“We’ve had potential traders contacting us to be involved since the start of the year.”
Any traders wishing to take part must submit an application setting out their stall and include photographs for quality assessment.
Local traders will be prioritised.
Any local business or independent traders interested can now apply for a space to trade on either day of the event or for the whole weekend.
Stalls cost £80 per day which includes a gazebo space, table and festive festoon lighting, as well as full site management.
A separate pricing structure is in place for hot food traders.
The first deadline for applications is Friday, August 16, when it is expected that most places will be allocated.
Traders can still apply after this date, though they should note that spaces will be more limited.
A trader from last year said “It was an absolute pleasure to be in Knutsford.
“Sadly, I only booked to trade on the Saturday but lesson learnt, I’ll book both days in future.
“The customers, vibe, set up to say the least was just an absolute joy to be around.”
