A LIVELY choir brought happiness and laughter to the RHS Tatton Flower Show.

Singers wearing floral headbands performed a selection of uplifting tunes from West End musicals.

Floral artists were encouraged to use the thought-provoking power of flowers to tell stories.

“The buzz in the room and the elation that follows a good session of singing is one of the main reasons I love running this choir.”

The choir sang From Now On taken from The Greatest Showman and plan to learn Once Upon A December from Anastasia and a Sound of Music Medley.

The singers joined TV choirmaster Gareth Malone on his tour last year and also performed at Cadogan Hall in the West End.

The choir is based at The Grange School Sports Pavilion in Hartford.

Rehearsals resume on Wednesday, September 25 from 7.30pm to 9pm.

No auditions are held. All are welcome.
