QUEUES were building on the M56 Eastbound due to a broken down vehicle this morning, Thursday.
The vehicle, was reported to have broken down between Junction 6, Manchester Airport, and Junction 7, Bowdon.
One lane was been closed while the incident was ongoing and traffic was moving slowly between the two junctions.
The incident has now been cleared and traffic conditions have returned to normal.
