A SPECIAL anniversary event opens at Tatton Park today, Wednesday.

RHS Tatton Flower Show celebrates 25 years of stunning displays, cutting edge design and imaginative gardens.

This will be the last flower show in the grounds of this Cheshire stately home until 2027 as the RHS plans to visit other venues around the country.

The five-day celebration offers plenty to see, do and enjoy for the whole family.

Sarah Poll, head of shows development at the RHS, said: “From gardens addressing illnesses such as MND to sustainability, arts and crafts, orchids and even Barbie, we’re delighted to showcase the best of cutting edge design and thought-provoking gardens.

“We’ve got a superb range of food and drinks, live entertainment and shopping opportunities so everyone, young and gold, families or individuals, can come and enjoy a great day out.”

The show runs until Sunday, July 21.
