A POLICE dog helped to track down two suspects who ran off as officers tried to apprehend them.
PD Lex assisted Cheshire Roads Policing Unit in the search for two men who jumped out of a vehicle and fled into woods in Tabley yesterday afternoon, Wednesday.
Posting on social media, a spokesman for Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs, said: “Team Lex assisted RPU colleagues this afternoon in Tabley in the search for two males who decamped from a vehicle and fled into woods.

“One was flushed out straight to nearby officers.
“The second tried to play hide and see with Lex, but there was only ever going to be one winner.”
